Mr. Nugent is a graduate of Binghamton University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in psychology, and Fordham University School of Law. He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1999.

Mr. Nugent concentrates in estate planning, estate and trust administration and probate, elder law and real estate. He has a wide range of experience in the preparation of wills, trusts and other estate planning documents; administration and probate proceedings; estate litigation; preparation of estate and fiduciary income tax returns; preparation of fiduciary accountings and settlement of estates; elder law and Medicaid matters; transactional real estate; and corporate and limited liability company formation and related matters.

Mr. Nugent is a member of the New York State Bar Association Trusts & Estates Law, Elder Law and Special Needs, and Real Property Law sections. He is also a member of Estate Planning Council of Long Island.
